Midland Freight Service Ltd, part of the Adam Jones Group, are responsible for delivering the majority of our small loads, part loads & small palletised consignments throughout the UK. We operate a fleet of 7.5 tonne - 26 tonne rigid vehicles that deliver a large variety of goods, and have been shareholder members of the Pallet Track pallet network since 2004.
Our customers’ goods are consolidated into loads by our friendly traffic staff, taking into account any time constraints and delivery restrictions and are then shipped throughout the mainland. With several sizes and types of vehicle body at our disposal we can accommodate nearly every conceivable delivery scenario. We also ship over 2,000 deliveries per month through our pallet network – Pallet Track. This “double-edged” approach enables us to have the maximum flexibility with your deliveries, assuring a next day delivery service where required whilst still being cost effective.
Pallet Track is the fastest growing pallet distribution network in the UK and is also widely considered market leaders in I.T. for track and trace. Every Pallet Track member depot has the ability to view in real time all forecast and current consignments through their website. All goods are barcode scanned from collection depot, through the pallet hub and into delivering depot. With over 60 depots providing network coverage a reliable and consistent nationwide delivery service is assured. In the second quarter of 2008 they also introduced their own quality control department to monitor all aspects of the transhipment process at their pallet hub, safeguarding the condition of your goods from door to door. Our customers are able to view the status of their consignments live on the web along with completed proof of delivery information and an image of the signed note on-line, which can be printed, emailed or saved to your computer. Online POD'sWe have our own easy to use online job entry website for palletised goods, enabling our customers to take full control of their deliveries. You are able to book full, half, quarter and oversize pallets for either next day or economy delivery throughout the UK, with am/pm timed and saturday services available. You can also print a daily manifest for you records and even barcode labels for your pallets. With a full or partial postcode search feature it’s easy to make sure your goods are going to the right address, and after initial entry your customers delivery details are held in a database for immediate retrieval by simply entering the account number on the job entry page.
